Kalki Koechlin, Abhay Deol, Kiran Rao at Shanghai film screening

A special screening of PVR Pictures’ Shanghai took place at a suburban theatre at Film City in Goregaon, a western Mumbai suburb, on the evening of May 31. Shanghai is an upcoming Hindi political thriller film directed by Dibakar Banerjee, starring Emraan Hashmi, Abhay Deol, Kalki Koechlin, Prosenjit Chatterjee and Amin Raj and is based on the novel ‘Z’ by Vassilis.

The film is set to release on 8 June 2012. Seen here are Kalki Koechlin, Abhay Deol, Kiran Rao, Zoya Akhtar, Supriya Pathak, during the film screening at Film City. Among others Anurag Kashyap and Pankaj Kapoor  were also spotted at the screening. Although the majority of the cast were present at Shanghai screening at Film City, Emraan Hashmi was not to be seen.
