Farhan Akhtar to attend London Olympics

Considering that Farhan Akhtar is playing the legendary Indian sprinter Milkha Singh's role inRakeysh Omprakash Mehra's next Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, keeping up with the spirit, he is going to attend the Olympic Games in London this year.

He will be going there specially to cheer for the Indian contingent. The actor-director has also been invited by sports bodies to hold special discussions. He will be going there after the opening ceremony.

A source was quoted saying, "Farhan has realized that we have never been short of talent as far as athletics is concerned. And since the Olympics is the biggest sporting event, he's going to London to cheer the athletes. He is finalizing his trip, considering the schedule of the key athletic contests in which India is also participating."
