Queen of many hearts, Silk Smitha’s presence on screens made the audience whistle and hoot for her. At a very young age she gained much popularity. No wonder when she was 23 years old, she had already done 30 films.
She turned out to be a bankable actress by many. She got a lot of appreciation and her career graph saw only progress. She wanted to get into film production, but destiny had decided something else. Soon she was found dead in her Chennai apartment under some mysterious circumstances. She was just 36 when she died.
Her dancing skills were fabulous and so she as many as 450 films in her film career of 17 years. She was famous for her dusky looks and excellent dance moves.
